Tiny Heart - Black Swan Parkrun
Black Swan Parkrun is a fun and welcoming weekly event held right here in Lakelands, where people of all ages come together to walk, jog, or run along a beautiful outdoor course. It starts at 8:00am every Saturday morning, and families, friends, kids, prams, and even dogs are all encouraged to join in — there’s no pressure to be fast, just to have fun and give it a go.
More than just a run, Black Swan Parkrun is about community. Volunteers cheer everyone on, familiar faces say hello, and the park comes alive with smiles and encouragement. It’s a wonderful example of how our local spaces bring people together, helping kids learn about staying active, supporting others, and being part of something bigger right here in Lakelands.
If it’s your first time joining in, participants do need to register online before their first run so they can receive a personal barcode to bring along on the day. Registration is free and only needs to be done once.
